Live-In Comfort can also offer a night time service

Live-In Comfort can also offer a night time service in the Brighton & Hove and surrounding areas. This service can be offer if the clients requires care during the night in addition to a day care. This is sometimes referred to as Waking Nights where the carers will go to the clients home for a specified number of hours usually 9pm until 7am and will remain awake to provide care and support. This service is usually charge at a hourly rate.

If the clients simply needs reassurance that someone is in their property at night should they need assistance then a Sleep-in Night is generally what is required. This will mean that the carers will be able to sleep during the night, the client will need to provide a comfortable sofa or a bed for the care to sleep. We recommend that you purchase an intercom, monitor or telephone, so that you can alert your carers to your needs when they are elsewhere in your home. Usually the care will arrive at 10pm and leave at 7am the next morning. Clients may wish to note that should the carer be called upon on two or more occasion during the night the service will revert to a hourly service from the second call. Should this happen on a regular bases then we would suggest a waking night would be more suitable.
